Hi all,
Very pleased to be in a position to let you all know, that as with most things in life, good things take time, and they are worth waiting on.
Leith Built Ships, Volume 4, Robb Caledon (1965 to 1984)
Is anticipated to be released by the publishers by the end of this month, for all who have pre-ordered and waited on this last volume of the commercial shipbuilding at Leith.
I say a very large thank you.
This Volume takes us as the cover says along the road to the closure of the yard in 1984, and as revealed in the houses of Parliament at the time, the yard could have been kept open. All long gone history now, but a maritime history well worth recounting and not forgetting.
