Leith-Built Ships, Vol-III

Hi all,

We are delighted to be able to tell you that the long awaited third in the series of books on the many ships built at Leith, the port of Edinburgh, Scotland is to be published on 23rd August 2022.

We hope you will all agree that this book has been well worth waiting for, covering the period from the end of the Second World War up to the middle of the swinging sixties in 1965. We go from riveted ships to welded ships, from full size Lofting to tenth scale Lofting, with many fine ships being built, with one of them featured on the cover of the book.

MV Flaminian was built for the Ellerman Papayanni line, launched in 1955, she was Ship No 445 from the Henry Robb Shipyard.
