Cruise Ships & Liners

Aquatania built at John Brown’s on the Clyde in 1913

They called her “The Ship Beautiful”

This category will feature some of the great old Liners along with many of the more modern type now known as Cruise ships.

We leave you to decide which looked the finer, I know which I preferred.

We shall feature as many vessels as we can to build this library and as ever we need your help with building this resource. In time it may be a very good record for anyone wishing to research old ships or just to look back on a passage of time, they may even have been lucky enough to have sailed as crew of been a passenger on one of these great ships.

Perhaps they were setting off to a new life in some other country during the great migration that took place after the Second World War and carried on into the 1970’s.
